Obsession

I finished it all rather quickly, for I had discovered it was quite addicting.

I had no idea the power of this one novel... Twilight was amazing.

Yes, Twilight was the drug that had taken over my system.
I bought the book on the 26th of November, and had it finished and had seen the movie for comparison four days later.

I continued to obsess mentally, debating on whether I should carry this new addiction further with the later books... I didn't want to buy more, since my giftcards were running out... but still... the pull of the story was overwhelming.

My decision became clear when my friend from Spanish class offered to loan me her books to read. Through her generosity, I read New Moon (book 2) and finished Eclipse (book 3) just last night.

I got so into Eclipse that I stayed up until 1:17am last night reading... and now I've got a week and a half left of Winter Vacation with no Twilight books... unless I can get the fourth from her before we meet at school... Hehehe...

First Taste

I'd known it was out there.
Seemed like it was all around me.

Only, I didn't know this was what it was really like.

Countless references to it where everywhere - I felt trapped, not knowing what to say when conversation veered towards it.

I felt low. Inexperienced.
Like a total noob.

...I hated the feeling.
Not that I don't like being unique or anything - but I had to know what all the fuss was about. How could one little thing make such a huge impact on the teenage world?
I had to know.
So I decided... I would get it.
And see for myself.

But I never expected it to be like this.
